UPDATE: Along with official images of the Air Max 1 Master, we've now scored some awesome pics of the hybrid on foot. Soak up the images, gauge how great the sneaker will look under your ankles – and then grab the shoes from on March 11. Of course, if you miss out on the drop, will be stocking them on SNKRS come March 25.
UPDATE: Official images of the 'Master' have now been released, along with a release date. While previous reports suggested a March 11 release, have confirmed that this multi-shoe tribute will be dropping on March 25 – the day before . Expect these to release in limited numbers, so be ready to cop.
Master brings together a patchwork of references from its time as a collaborative base-model, kind of like the slide show your parents would put together for a milestone birthday. It’s fitting tribute to the silhouette, which celebrates its 30th birthday this year. Rather than an all-out colour explosion from top to bottom, as seen on previous ‘What the’ releases, the Master takes a much more sophisticated approach by setting multi-coloured mudguard across a black background.
The Nike Air Max 1 Master ‘Black’ will be available at European stockists on March 11. The drop date for the rest of the world is still uncertain, we’ll keep you posted.
