In collaboration with , adidas today unveiled its most praiseworthy to date. Boasting an upper that is constructed completely of yarns and filaments recycled from ocean waste and illegal gill nets, this is truly a positive step forward for footwear. While this is no new thought process of using recyclable materials in footwear, its merit comes in the fact that there are too few of the bigger names doing it. A 2016 release is the word floating around the traps, but here’s to you adidas – cheers! Now go make 100,000 of these things and give it a hyped up premium name so there is an actual impact.
