The RS 9.8 Adds Gravity to PUMA’s Sneakers

 are continuing their lifestyle sneaker line with the RS 9.8, following the recent resurgence of their retro-inspired range.

Named RS 9.8 because of gravity’s acceleration on earth, it looks like the sneaker has taken on a globular shape with its round proportions.

The upper is made from fairly standard suede and mesh, with the odd leather insert here and there. The panelling follows on from the retro stylings of archival PUMA shoes.

What’s new is the enlarged foam midsole with the aforementioned round protrusions near the arch and heel.

There’s something for everyone, with both men’s and women’s colourways to launch on July 20.
