Air Jordan 22
The fighter jet theme was back in the hangar for the Air Jordan 22 in the form of the F-22 Raptor. Referencing the plane’s distinctive camouflage panelling, reflective 3M wrapped the heels of D’Wayne Edwards’ otherwise understated design. Visuals aside, the AJ22 was a high-performance beast that flexed a seamless bootie, double-stacked Zoom Air, hidden IPS and lightweight titanium-coated shank plates. By 2007, a roster of talented players had been handpicked to represent Jordan Brand in the NBA, and the Air Jordan 22 was treated to a solid series of Player Exclusives.
