Energised by the idea of fusing Mike’s DNA into the shoe, Tinker went to work designing outsoles that resembled MJ’s thumbprint and hand-stitching his initials on the upper. Tech-wise, the new Articulated Propulsion Technology – a fusion of Zoom Air and IPS – took care of business underfoot, while a new TPU chassis held the 3D-stitched upper in place.
