Nite Jogger
Released in 1976, the adidas Nite Jogger used 3M Scotchlite and ‘phosphorescent heel stripes’ to help keep runners visible at night. Sold under the tagline, ‘the shoe to be seen in,’ the Nite Jogger featured knobbly ‘traction’ soles and a ghilly lacing system. Fast-forward to 2018 and the Nite Jogger name was revived with a ground-up redesign that featured BOOST cushioning instead of dual-density EVA misdoles.
