First Look: Nike Air More Uptempo ‘Rough Green’

An icon of 1990s hoops, Scottie Pippen’s Nike Air More Uptempo continues to enjoy unwavering support from the Swoosh and ravenous sneakerheads the world over, the model recently appearing in ‘Peace, Love and Swoosh’ and ‘Loud and Clear’ renditions.

We’ve now got more to look forward to in the new year, the Air More Uptempo ‘Rough Green’ imbued with eye-catching military aesthetics.

Again appearing in its predominantly leather and nubuck construction, the latest model is composed in ‘Black’, ‘Rough Green’, ‘Pilgrim’ and ‘Black’. Mesh tongues provide both visual and material depth, while the indelible ‘AIR’ branding is this time registered in ‘Rough Green’ (which extends to Swoosh branding on the toe and heel). The ‘NIKE AIR’ text on the insole has also been modified, the text appearing alongside a graphic print of dog teeth.

Scheduled to hit retail for $160, we can expect the Air More Uptempo ‘Rough Green’ to land over the coming weeks.
