Caitlin Clark isn’t just redefining what it means to be a rookie – she’s leaving scorch marks on the hardwood with her sneaker game. Over All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, Clark debuted a brand-new Nike Kobe 5 Protro PE – another exclusive entry in what’s quickly becoming one of the WNBA’s most exciting signature sagas.

This latest PE brings bolder contrast than the retail ‘Indiana Fever’ pair that dropped in late June. It features a navy blue base with vibrant gradient overlays – starting with bright yellow at the toe and fading into deep orange at the heel. It’s a colour combo that channels both Clark’s squad and her signature on-court heat. Finishing touches include a gold Swoosh, her jersey number stitched into the tongue, and Kobe branding on the heel.

Since stepping into the WNBA spotlight, Clark has been on an absolute Kobe tear. Her rotation includes a growing roster of heat: the metallic silver-and-red ‘Rookie of the Year’ Kobe 5 PE from her debut game, a sleek navy-and-black ‘Iowa to Indiana’ build, and the gradient ‘Indiana Fever’ retail edition that sold out in seconds. She’s also laced up multiple Kobe 6 Protros – like the pastel-hued ‘Bellas’ honouring her dog, a vivid ‘Cookie Monster’ colourway, and an All-Star exclusive that fans are still begging Nike to release. With each game – and each fit – Clark is proving she’s not just part of the Kobe legacy… she’s extending it.

Though sidelined with a minor groin injury during All-Star Weekend, Clark remained the centre of attention – coaching from the bench, taking media duties in stride, and rocking her new PEs courtside. Between her explosive debut season, chart-topping vote counts, and ever-growing sneaker clout, Clark isn’t just playing in the WNBA, she’s shaping its future one step (and one shoe) at a time.

Currently, there’s no official word on whether these will cop a retail release, but make sure to keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
