Foot Locker and the Chicago Bulls have announced a multi-year partnership that will see the retailer embedded even further into the basketball culture. The move comes after Foot Locker entered an agreement with the NBA as their official marketing partner in the United States last year, with activations at the All-Star game, the launch of ‘The Clinic’ program, and their new ‘Home Court’ store in NYC well and truly kicking off the partnership. With the signing to the Chicago Bulls, Foot Locker will simultaneously continue their work for the NBA while also providing further opportunities and activations specifically for Bulls supporters.

Fans got a small taste of what the partnership will look like last month when the team hosted a Youth Hoops 3v3 Tournament presented by Foot Locker, and this is only the first of many community events the pair will deliver together, including Bulls Fest. There will also be events that will engage fans via the Chicago store, and the first one is set to take place on November 2 at the State Street store with player meet-and-greets and live entertainment. The last element to the partnership to be announced so far is the co-branded ‘Tunnel Walk’ series that will offer exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the players before they take the court.

Executive Vice President of Revenue and Strategy for the Chicago Bulls Matt Kobe says, ‘This partnership showcases the Bulls’ and Foot Locker’s shared commitments to basketball culture and community and passion for creating legendary experiences. We are proud to welcome Foot Locker as the newest partner of the Chicago Bulls and look forward to inspiring and engaging fans in innovative ways together, in the arena, in their stores and in the community.’

The partnership between Foot Locker and the Chicago Bulls will serve to strengthen the retailer’s presence in the basketball community and solidify their status as the go-to destination for basketball product in the Windy City and beyond.
