A Ma Maniére have added a surprise silhouette to their 'While You Were Sleeping' line up, as they revealed a Friends and Family AMM x Nike x Converse Chuck 70, solidifying the connections made in the capsule collection. Most notably, the Chucks sport a Swoosh – marking the first time this has been done in an official capacity – and something that Virgil Abloh had wanted to add to the Converse colab that formed part of his initial 'The Ten' collection. Pairs were given to friends of the brand over dinner, with only 100 pairs rumoured to have been produced in total. A Ma Maniére are celebrating their 10th anniversary with the release of a film titled While You Were Sleeping. The film explores the challenges faced by minority creatives, tackling themes like cultural exploitation and the relentless drive for artistic freedom. Directed by the award-winning Turner brothers, Julien and Justen Turner, the film introduces the Creative Resource Agency (CRA), a fictional entity imposing a ‘Black Tax’ on influential minority creatives. The cast features a lineup of influential figures across various creative industries, including Jae Tips, Nina Chanel, Hebru Brantley, Chris Gibbs, Angelo Baque, and many others.

A Ma Maniére's 'While You Were Sleeping' capsule has been nothing short of a sneakerhead's dream, and now the retail powerhouse is looking to bring things to a close with the last instalment of the series. The last silhouette to land is the Converse Weapon – this marks the brand's first-ever collaboration with Converse so expect it to get the full AMM treatment with a luxe leather build and tonal mauve accents, as well as quilted liners and co-branded tongue tabs. Pairs will also arrive in a special-edition collector's box and come packaged-up with three lace options.

As is custom, the AMM x Nike Air Force 1 bleeds subtle berry-toned hues, with details arriving in the form of 'A'-shaped perforations on the toebox, glacial Swooshes, icy outsoles, and a textured monogrammed liner that ups the luxe factor. The 95 marches on with the collaboration's theme, boasting the same mauve and berry tones in keeping with the wider story. In addition, the AMM x AM95 features suede overlays, exaggerated zig-zag stitching, monogrammed touches and 3M detailing. It'll also come with three lace colour options and a special-edition box.

The James Whitner-owned behemoth is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, and as expected, they’ve gone all out on the celebratory collection. Alongside the recently revealed Air Jordan 3 and leaked Air Jordan 4 that surfaced over the past few months, the Whitaker Group will be dropping a selection of silhouettes that span Nike, Jordan and Converse – and they’re the first Swoosh collaborators to do so since Virgil Abloh’s 'The Ten'.
The group have now revealed all of the silhouettes that will come as part of the collection, which includes the Air Jordan 3, 4 and 39, the Converse Weapon, and the Nike Air Force 1. An Air Max 95 similar to the one spotted by Sneaker Freaker at Paris Fashion Week back in January has also made the cut, although this version comes with a darker-toned sole unit. Each pair stay's true to AMM's signature aesthetic, boasting tonal 'Violet Ore' colour palettes.
