As the Minnesota Timberwolves gear up for a deep playoff push, superstar Anthony Edwards is making noise both on the court and in the sneaker game. His explosive playstyle, magnetic personality and leadership at just 22 years old have made him one of the league’s most exciting young stars. Now, his signature sneaker is stepping into the spotlight with a fresh twist: the adidas AE 1 Low 'Tie Dye’.

Set to release on April 19, this new colourway takes the top-tier performance of the AE 1 and wraps it in pastel tones that exudes summer energy. The prime blue knit upper features a swirling tie-dye pattern in pink, peach and pale orange, while the TPU support cage adds a marbled effect that’s equally eye-catching. It’s a psychedelic, vibrant look that contrasts the icy focus Edwards brings to each game.

Originally a player exclusive (PE) worn by top-tier high school prospects in adidas’ 3SSB (Three Stripes Select Basketball) grassroots circuit, the 'Tie Dye' edition – also referred to as the ‘3SSB’ colourway – is now making its way into the public arena. Underfoot, adidas’ high-rebound Lightstrike midsole delivers court-ready cushioning paired with a translucent outsole for elite traction.

Retailing for $110 (with grade school sizes at $90), the AE 1 Low ‘Tie Dye’ drops at select retailers and via adidas.com on April 19.
