The Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Furon 7+, which was debuted by Arsenal superstar Bukayo Saka, will launch through New Balance's webstore on June 28. This follows the drop on ALD's channels, where the sneaker is still available.

There’s no denying that football-fashion colabs have become big business, and with the Euros just around the corner, it's likely that there are more on the way. But first, as the UK’s Premier League season draws to a close and Arsenal attempt to keep up their title run, the team’s wunderkind and New Balance athlete Bukayo Saka has taken the time to show off the upcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance Furon 7+.

The relationship between ALD and New Balance is longstanding. The duo has pumped out plenty of colabs over the years, and the brand’s founder Teddy Santis is also the creative director of New Balance’s MADE in USA line. ALD’s previous New Balance collaborations have been inspired by everything from running to basketball, and with ALD having recently ventured into motorsport and golfing territory, it was only a matter of time before football joined the fold. The resulting NB Furon 7+ sees the boot’s white uppers get dripped out with gold detailing, calling back to the branded insignias displayed on ALD’s past New Balance colabs.

This isn’t New Balance Football’s first fashion crossover either. Back in 2022, Raheem Sterling showed off the Stone Island x New Balance Furon 7, which dropped alongside a collaborative 574 and a matching clothing collection. As it stands, there’s no news on whether a lifestyle sneaker will form part of this collaboration, but the announcement post confirms that the boot will drop over the next few months. Stay tuned for more info as it comes in.
