Official Images of the Hair-Raising Air Jordan 1 'Halloween' Are Here
Official images are finally here of the Air Jordan 1 'Halloween', and they do not disappoint. Showing off the eerie glowing eyes as well as a luminous sole and flame detailing on the upper, the images also reveal a second inspiration: spiders. While initially overlooked for its uncanny 'Black Cat' traits, the spider was hiding right under our noses, with the two extra eyes, hairy leg-like laces and the fangs protruding onto the toe box all undeniably spider-y. This is confirmed with the stickers included with the pair, showing off a hybrid flying spider cat with claws at the end of each leg. There's no release date for the spooky pair just yet, so stay locked for further updates.
Leak alert! Fresh images have emerged of this year's Jordan Brand Halloween release. So far, little is known about the 'Black Cat' inspired Air Jordan 1 Lows, but some sources are hinting these may be exclusively made in Grade School sizes.
Although blurry Black Cat sightings first surfaced a few days ago, we’re only just really getting a proper look at the upcoming Halloween release. Playing on one of Jordan Brand’s fan-fave themes of MJ’s alter ego, the upcoming Air Jordan 1 ‘Black Cat’ comes with a few spooky season-specific details, so let’s break down what we know so far.
The All Hallow’s Eve holiday tends to usher in sneakers with certain features, and this pair's tale is no different. On top of the murdered-out palette that most famously graces the grailed ‘Black Cat’ AJ4, the thematic Jordan 1 Low dons its own Halloween costume, with glow-in-the-dark sole units and lumniscent flame patterns flickering upwards from the base. A subtle spider web also touches down on the toebox, with a fanged design hitting the bottom of the throat. Heavily distressed laces snake upwards, where a somewhat creepy cat eye detail awaits on the tongue tab. Press the button, and as you’ll see in the video, these will also light up.
Release details are still scarce for the Halloween Air Jordan 1 Low ‘Halloween’, but with only a few months to go until the holiday, things will likely surface soon. Stay tuned for more info as it comes in.
