Sneaker customiser Jack The Ripper just gave us another look at the type of phenomenal colab that could exist if BAPE and Jordan Brand came together. After delivering a ‘Bred’ AJ1, the craftsman has turned his efforts to recreating another heavy-hitting colourway in the Jumpman catalogue – ‘Royal Blue’. Proportions of the make-up are true to the OG, albeit with pink and white BAPE logos on the heel and, of course, the gorilla-laden camo print abounding over the canvas upper.

The Air Jordan 1 ‘Royal Blue/BAPE Custom’ is likely a one-of-one but you can order your own commission on Jack the Ripper’s website, or wait for ‘Royal 2017 Retro’ to drop on April 1.
