Both Nike and Jordan Brand have been swinging big over their golf releases recently, and with the US Open just a couple of months away, we're not expecting the momentum to slow down anytime soon. And while Jordan may be making their own golf-specific silhouettes now, they're looking to return to their hardwood roots for a special edition Air Jordan 14 that'll drop alongside the tournament. Here's what we know so far.

Joining a handful of retro-inspired Swoosh and J-brand golf releases, the 'US Open' Air Jordan 14 Golf carries classic Jordan steeze onto the green. The ultra-clean colourway is ripe for the country club thanks to its crisp white uppers and contrasting black tongue, lining and sole unit, while tasteful copper detailing calls out MJ's branding hits. As expected for a golf release, the sole has been redesigned with a stabilised midsole and circular spikes for added traction, while Air Zoom units remain in the forefoot and heel for a comfy swing and step.

The 'US Open' Air Jordan 14 is expected to hit shelves during the tournament, which takes place from June 12 to 15. Stay locked to Sneaker Freaker for more info as it comes in.
