Arts-Rec have revealed their Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration not long after the pair leaked to the public. Dubbed 'For Recreational Use Only', they've slated a release date for the back half of this year – keep it locked!

Arts-Rec is a staple fixture in the San Diego skate and sneaker community, and they're now set to release a Nike SB collection this year. Founded in 2018 by skateboarding vet Kellen James, Arts-Rec is more than a go-to destination for footwear: it is a space for community. Throughout the store’s history, it has hosted everything from skateboarding events to art shows, as it rejects the notion of simply being a retail space and embraces a more diverse cultural scene. Arts-Rec’s collaboration with Nike is expected to include an SB Dunk Low and an SB Air Trainer 1.

While no images are available yet, early information indicates the pairs will be dressed in tonal hues. The Dunk is expected in ‘Khaki/Amber Brown’ and the Air Trainer 1 dons ‘Earth/Desert Sand’. Since the Air Trainer 1 is not designed as a skate shoe, its inclusion in the pack could point to plans to rework it in a similar way to the SB x Air Jordan 4.

Arts-Rec’s reputation is one of authentic connection to its community, so no doubt their work with Nike on this project will reflect that. Stay tuned for more information as it drops.
