ASICS GEL-Lyte V (Reef Water/Birch)
This GEL-Lyte V looks like the result of an afternoon spent daydreaming at the ASICS design department. With colour names such as ‘Reef Water’ and ‘Birch’, the shoe summons up images of pristine sand bordered by pure blue water on one side and lush vegetation on the other. Little hits of red have been used for the branding, like a flower perched atop a tropical cocktail served in a coconut shell. Unfortunately, these kinds of scenes aren’t an everyday reality for most of us, but these GEL-Lytes can be.
