Concepts X Reebok Instapump Fury (Cc)
UPDATE: A high-fashion concept calls for some seriously slick photography, so the Beantown boutique has brought us a moody set of images of their creative colab on foot.
The Concepts x Reebok InstaPump Fury 'CC' will be available December 17 through Concepts' NYC and Cambridge locations, as well as online through . The colab will also be available in 'Platinum' and debut alongside an assortment of matching apparel and accessories.
In 2014, to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the InstaPump Fury, Concepts collaborated with Reebok on a vibrant rendition of the bladder-based runner. Inspired by the baroque motif applied to the silk garments of major fashion houses in the 80s and 90s, the end product was outlandishly gaudy and yet, utterly irresistible.
Now, in 2016, for the Boston bandits' own 20th anniversary, the two have partnered together once again for a fresh take on the same model. This time around, Concepts have gone in the complete opposite direction to their 2014 colab, producing a leather and neoprene make-up hit with a total black-out. Metallic silver 'Pump' and 'Reebok' branding, together with reflective Concepts branding on the tongue and heel, cut through the darkness on this sophisticated colab.
The Concepts x Reebok InstaPump Fury 'CC' will be available December 17 through Concepts' NYC and Cambridge locations, as well as online through .
