Eastside Golf Introduce First-Ever Nike Collection

Founded in 2019 by professional golfers Earl Cooper and Olajuwon Ajanaku, Eastside Golf have quickly become a favourite among sneakerheads who love golf. Whilst still a fledgling imprint, the team have already collaborated extensively with the Jordan Brand, having launched multiple renditions of the Air Jordan 1 and a stellar Air Jordan 4 – the latter of which was worn by PGA Tour pros Pat Perez and Bubba Watson.

For their latest project, Eastside Golf are linking up with Nike for their inaugural ‘Everybody’s Game’ collection, a capsule celebrating golf’s widespread adoption among a new generation of fans. Featuring the Air Max 1 ‘86 and Air Zoom Victory Tour 3, both models are sure to get a few double-takes on the green. Each design features a trio of double-sided, removable Swooshes that allow the wearer to customise their pair. Two of the removable Swooshes honour HBCU’s Morehouse and Spelman College, while the third is intended to ‘reflect how you see yourself in the game.’ Eastside Golf’s signature graphics also appear on the tongues and outsoles.

While the Air Max 1 ‘86 is well-known to sneakerheads, the Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 may be a little more novel for some. Arriving in February 2023, the performance model belongs to Nike’s Victory Tour Series, which is known for their high-end materials and technical innovations catering for serious golfers. The standout feature is no doubt the patented Zoom cushioning, which provides a solid ride for those trekking 18 holes.

The Eastside Golf x Nike Air Max 1 '86 and the Air Zoom Victory Tour 3 are launching on October 4 via the Eastside Golf app. A wider release will follow at Nike on October 7. The collection will also be previewed at Eastside Golf’s NYC pop-up shop at 131 Greene St. from September 12 to 15.
