James Harden's Vol. 8 With adidas Hits the Court in 'Luxury Red'

The performance crep features a split colour-block pattern, which was previously seen on the 'Flamingo Pink' edition. This time, the rich red tone is displayed on the leather toe-box, mesh side panels and the signature teardrop-shaped EVA midsole. The contrast is heightened by a sleek black interior and outsole, offering a classic touch. The midsole, also in red, integrates adidas’ BOOST technology, offering superior cushioning and energy return, which is essential for Harden’s explosive playing style. Though the LA Clippers don’t sport this exact colour combo, it aligns well with the team's recent rebranding efforts and their statement jerseys.
One of the most important factors in a court stomper is of course the outsole, and the Vol. 8 is designed for optimal traction, featuring a unique pattern that supports quick cuts and sudden changes in direction – exactly what Harden is known to do.
Priced at $160, the adidas ‘Luxury Red’ will be available starting September 1 at select adidas Basketball retailers in-store and online, along with the standard adidas site.
