Flight on the Fairway: Jordan Brand Swing Big with the Air Rev
Jordan Brand are bringing serious heat to the back nine with the Air Rev, their most advanced golf shoe to date. Teed up for release on May 14, this futuristic golf silhouette introduces Flight Lock, a new containment system that dials in a precise fit using a mix of a tightening dial and supportive leno-weave strap.
Designed for versatility, the Air Rev takes into account the biomechanics of your swing. A movable Air Zoom unit sits in the trail foot for responsive energy return during the backswing, while the lead foot is loaded with Formula23 foam, keeping you grounded and stable as you follow through. And yep – it’s built to work whether you're a righty or a lefty. Underfoot, a pressure-mapped traction pattern grips the turf like tour-level studs, while the waterproof synthetic upper keeps the elements at bay. Whether you're hitting the range, walking 18, or flexing at the clubhouse, these sneakers are built to perform.
‘The future of golf isn’t tied to its past,’ says Jordan Brand. ‘For the next generation, it’s bolder and more modern. Jordan Brand Golf blends performance, innovation, and iconic style, building a future where the players, not the past, define what’s next.’
Style-wise, Jordan keeps it classic. The launch colourway arrives in 'White/University Blue' – a clean nod to MJ’s UNC legacy – with a 'White/Metallic Silver' version dropping later this summer. Both pairs retail for $250 and will be available via Jordan.com and select golf retailers.
