Jordan Brand Has a Nu Golf Shoe
There are plenty of Jordan Brand takedown models that imitate their many sought after flagships, such as the Jordan Nu Retro 1. This particular silhouette touched down in the early 2000s and as the name suggests is modelled after the AJ1, albeit with a chunkier, almost skate-ready, upper. While never commercially successful, Jordan Brand are bringing it back around, now in a golf variant!
The Jordan Nu Retro 1 Golf takes the build of its standard lifestyle cohort, boasting the AJ1 toe box, with added panels on the lateral and medial and complete with oversized Wings logo. From the official imagery you can tell that plush leather was used throughout the upper. Three iterations have been created for the initial release, with the favourite sure to be the ‘Chicago’-esque colourway. The only build change is the spikes that grace the outsole and are ready for green.
You can expect the Jordan Nu Retro 1 Golf to land on January 10 via Nike’s usual channels.
