The NBA world is still reeling after the Lakers’ blockbuster trade with the Dallas Mavericks, sending Luka Dončić to Los Angeles in a move that instantly reshaped the league’s power structure. Now leading the Lakers alongside LeBron James, Dončić has made the purple and gold look unstoppable as they storm through the Western Conference. While fans continue to celebrate his extraordinary arrival in LA, Jordan Brand are keeping the momentum rolling with the release of the Jordan Luka 4, which is set to debut in ‘Barely Green’ on April 8, 2025.

The Luka 4 sticks to the low-top performance silhouette that has defined the series thus far. There's still no word from the Jumpman regarding tech, but it looks like Cushlon foam is once again being utilised in the midsole. Stitched detailing and bold panelling give the shoe a modern look, with Dončić’s signature ‘77’ logo stamped on both the tongue and outsole. The ‘Barely Green’ edition features a pastel green base with contrasting black, hyper pink and vapour green accents. A gradient effect along the side panels and a speckled midsole add a dynamic visual touch.

One of the most heartfelt details on the shoe is a hidden heart inside the tongue, symbolising his deep bond with his daughter. Luka Doncic and his fiancée welcomed their first child in December 2023.

The Los Angeles Lakers are set to face the Denver Nuggets on March 14, 2025 in a highly anticipated Western Conference showdown. If the postseason started today, Luka and the Lakers would be matched up against the seventh-seeded New Orleans Pelicans in the first round.

The Jordan 4 ‘Barely Green’ lands on April 8 at Nike and select retailers. For more on performance hoops, make sure to get your first look at the adidas AE 2.
