Kanye Debuts New Basketball Sneaker At Ucla
Kanye West has been spotted in an unreleased pair of adidas sneakers at UCLA. Images of the shoe surfaced after the Bruins, the university’s basketball team, showed up to a recent practice and found Kanye and 2 Chainz playing on their court. Practice went on and the team made good use of the photo op afterwards.
The sneaker could very well be a new Yeezy prototype. In 2016, the Three Stripes announced they'd signed Ye for what they said would be the largest deal between a non-athlete and an athletic brand. Called ‘adidas + Kanye’, the line would see Yeezy-branded footwear and apparel across a range of spheres – basketball being one of them. And, with Kanye’s basketball offerings rumoured to drop in 2017, these images might just be a peek at what's in the pipeline.
