Oh Yeah! The Kool-Aid x Nike Ja 2 ‘Tropical Punch’ Brings a Fresh Splash of Flavour

Ja Morant’s sneaker calendar is heating up. Fresh off the Nike x Ja 3 release, he's diving back into his Nike Kool-Aid colab – a multi-step partnership which first tipped off earlier this year. The duo have stepped back into the sun to serve a fresh 'Tropical Punch' iteration, loaded with bold colours and fun, summer energy.

Leaving behind the mismatched style that defined its predecessor, the fresh edition embraces a classic look with vibrant, fruity touches. Soft highlights on the outsole traction evoke the jewelled blue of the neighbourhood pool on hot summer days, complemented by water-droplet textures on the mudguard and heel cup. Meanwhile, the toe bursts with a neon red inspired by the refreshing beverage, gradually moving into a vivid pink toward the heel.

The design leans fully into the brand’s boisterous spirit with cracked brick patterns placed behind the Swoosh, recalling the Kool-Aid Man’s fondness for a wall-smashing arrival. The graphic is complemented by a textured grid of embossed droplets on the overlays, giving the whole a high-summer maxin' and relaxin' energy.
