Californian basketballer LaMelo Ball will launch the latest colourway in his PUMA MB.04 signature series, the 'Graffiti', next month. It's already been a fruitful year for fans of the hooper's acid-hued designs, with the 'Disco', 'Be You', 'Neon' and others dropping earlier in 2025. Now Ball's shaking the can in preparation for a 'Graffiti' throw-up.

If you know your colour wheel, you'll see the new palette leans hard into the boldest pair of complementary colours: blue and orange. It's a savvy match to the model's street art-inspired title – a salute to aerosol artists' predilection for colour combos with maximum visual contrast. The energy starts at the MB.04's vivid blue and yellow base layer, while those spider-like veins of the TPU overlay – rendered here in orange and yellow – spill across the uppers and toe box, adding structural support.

The midsole is a sculptural marvel, hitting with a citrus punch at the lateral forefoot and curling around the heel to the medial side in the bright blue of an unclouded sky. Ball's signature maxims are embedded into the design's lines, in a graf-style font that'd make Zephyr proud – ‘Rare,’ ‘1 of One,’ 'Not From Here' and ‘Love’. The letters D, I and P running vertically down the length of the tongue are a lovenote to Ball's rottweiler Dip. Underfoot, PUMA equips the MB.04 with full-length NITRO Foam cushioning for explosive energy return and responsiveness.

The LaMelo Ball PUMA MB.04 'Graffiti' doesn't have a set-in-stone release date yet, but we're looking at a June drop. Keep the dial set to Sneaker Freaker for all upcoming details.
