Coco Gauff Aces Her On-Court Fit With Miu Miu x New Balance Colab
Coco Gauff officially debuted the New Balance x Miu Miu collection during the 2025 Italian Open in Rome. The reigning US Open champion took the court in a custom co-branded outfit featuring navy and white tones with red accents – a striking ensemble designed by Miu Miu to complement the player's signature Coco CG2 silhouette, which has also received a high-fashion update.
The full lifestyle collection – including footwear and apparel – is scheduled to release globally on September 10, 2025, via Miu Miu boutiques and select New Balance retailers.
On the performance side, Gauff advanced to the fourth round in Rome with a straight-sets win over Magda Linette. She is now set to face Emma Raducanu in a high-profile showdown, their first meeting since the 2023 Australian Open.
Miu Miu and New Balance caused a stir each time they dropped one of their uber-expensive 574s, and they caught the internet’s attention again when they dropped their low-slug, sole-less 530. The luxe, low-profile suede sneaker had the fashion crowd locked in, but now the duo is looking to attract a new audience by bringing a tennis star into the partnership. As more and more fashion brands take an interest in performance wear, Miu Miu and NB have tapped Coco Gauff for their latest collaboration, which covers both on-court and off-court styles.
Announcing their colab with Coco via a suite of campaign images showcasing the collection, New Balance and Miu Miu have confirmed that Gauff will be wearing pieces from the capsule for her forthcoming tournaments in Rome, Berlin and Cincinnati. Interestingly, this includes footwear as well as clothing, but the brand seem to be keeping those performance shoe styles under wraps for now. What we can see is a selection of tennis apparel, tracksuits and windbreakers, as well as a new colourway of the 530 in grey, silver and gold, as well as grey suede and black patent colourways. On the performance side, Gauff will be rocking special edition versions of her CG2 on the court.
Gauff’s next tournament starts on May 7, but the full collection will be available to shop from September 10.
