Jordan Brand and Nigel Sylvester are making waves through NYC with their 'Brick by Brick' campaign, which of course centres around the AJ4 in 'Firewood Orange'. First, the duo drove a truck around the city with a massive brick on the back and Sylvester personally handed out t-shirts to the crowd. This was followed by a dinner, which featured a first-look fashion show of the full collection. Most models were wearing the fiery pair, but eagle eyes picked up that some were wearing a different iteration – this one in white with red accents and replete with Sylvester's signature mini Swoosh on the toe box. While this could be the F&F, fingers are crossed both pairs will see a wide release.
At the dinner, Sylvester also spoke about the inspiration behind this colourway, and with storytelling one of his strengths with the Bike Air campaign, it's no surprise that there's one behind this pair too. The orange/red colour palette comes from the red bricks NYC is renowned for, along with the notion that we build our dreams and goals 'brick by brick'.
A release date for the full collection, including the 'Firewood Orange' pair has been revealed as March 14, 2025 via SNKRS and select retailers.

The BMX rider and Team Jumpman athlete delivered one of 2024’s most impactful campaigns with the Air Jordan 4 RM Grandma’s Driveway project. Now, just days ahead of the ball drop into the new year, his 2025 lineup is coming into focus. It has already been reported that he has an Air Jordan 1 Low inspired by his sample pair from 2022 in the works. We now know that an Air Jordan 4 is on the way as well.
Sylvester brings the juice like few other collaborators can. His pairing of story-telling and product crafting creates a needle-moving moment every time. His work on Air Jordan 4 RM topped a lot of sneakerheads’ lists in 2024. Jordan Brand is hoping to capitalize on this momentum with his upcoming Air Jordan 4. The first looks of the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 arrived detailing the sneaker’s ‘Firewood Orange’ colour palette. Dressed in a monochromatic rich suede upper with matching rubber outsole, only the ‘Sail’ midsole differs from the colour scheme. The images do not reveal the backtab but it is expected to feature Nigel’s patented ‘Bike Air’ logo.
Currently, the Nigel Sylvester x Air Jordan 4 ‘Firewood Orange’ is expected to be released on March 23, 2025. Retail will be set at $225. Stay tuned for any updates.
