The Nike Air Penny 4 Is Back

Magic fans rejoice – 2017 is going to be the year of the Penny! 20 years after the release of Hardaway's signature Foamposite, Nike are paying their dues to the NBA All-Star in a big way. In addition to retros of both the Air Foamposite One and its Swoosh-adorned Air Foamposite Pro variation, Nike will also be reviving another Penny silhouette from the deep within the archives.

The last entry in the Air Penny series, the Air Penny 4, is set to make a comeback in the new year. Officially having made its debut in 1998, the strapped and shrouded mid-cut silhouette will be making its return debut in classic Orlando Magic colours. Metallic blue leather sits atop a black nubuck base, reinforced with a matching tumbled leather overlay and ankle strap. Bright blue Penny and '1 Cent' branding accent the upper, while a blue translucent outsole hugs the bottom.

An exact release date for the Nike Air Penny 4 'Orlando' is yet be announced, but they are on track for release in the second quarter of 2017.
