It's been a long time since we last got wind of anything to do with the 'Neon' Book 1, but with the AM95's 30th anniversary year underway, it's looking like the colourway is set to get a public run-out after all. The rumour mill currently suggests that the 'Neon' Book 1 will hit shelves as part of Nike's Autumn rollout this year, though this is still yet to be confirmed by the Swoosh or Book himself. Stay tuned for more info as it comes in!

Christmas Day featured some heat on the NBA hardwood this year. A plethora of ‘Reverse Grinch’ Kobe Protro 6s were worn across the 5 nationally televised games and Jayson Tatum debuted his second signature sneaker with the Jumpman. In the last game of the night, Suns All-Star Devin Booker broke out an Air Max 95 ‘Neon’-inspired colourway for his Nike Book 1.

The old school-inspired silhouette featured different shades of grey in a variety of materials with a black mudguard and midsole, similar to the AM 95. Neon accents the sneaker on the Swoosh and hits on the tongue and rear pulltab, as a translucent Neon outsole mimics the Air Max units seen on the 95.

According to sources, the Nike Book 1 ‘Neon’ will stay exclusive as a PE and will not be released to the public. Expect Booker to rock more PEs of his signature sneaker this season inspired by his favourite Nike sneakers.
