The granddaddy of Nike silhouettes, the Cortez, has stepped into the new-fangled world of Flyknit. Although the round-toe shape of the original may have been lost, the strange translation leaves a low-profile sock-like design that stands tall with its own eccentricities. The fused Swoosh, toe bar and lace facing keep the stretch material under control, while a segmented sole lets you bend and flex till your heart’s content. The initial drop contains the classic colourway, made famous by a certain Mr. Gump, as well as a sleek black and white.
