UPDATE: A release date for the 'Be True' Nike Flyknit Racer has emerged – and thankfully we won't need to wait long for these to hit shelves. The drop date has been scheduled for June 1, through NDC and select Nike retailers – including Solebox.

Fresh images of this upcoming release reveal a significant change to the sample we previewed earlier, with a dose of colour injected into both the outsole and medial knit. Previously, both segments of the shoe featured strict black and white contrast, but now feature bright pink branding.

Nike have a new 'Be True' make-up on the way for 2017, this time for the Flyknit Racer. Utilising inverse colour-blocking to the OG 'Black/White' Racer, the Be True version features a white exterior knit with black on the medial sides, complemented with clean white Swooshes on the inside.

Produced in support of the LGBT community, Nike have added a few special touches to this release, most notably the segmented rainbow Swooshes on the lateral sides – the first time we have seen a multicolour Nike logo on the model. A subtle infusion of pale pink Flywire has also been included beneath. Finally, the tongues proudly bear 'Be True' branding.

No official release details have been announced at this stage, but the Nike Flyknit Racer 'Be True' is expected to release in summer 2017. We'll keep you updated!
