Nike’s Latest Golf Collection Looks to the Iconic Augusta Azaleas For Inspiration
This weekend, golf fans will either be flocking to Georgia’s iconic Augusta Golf Course or have their eyes fixed to their TV screens because it’s the Masters, baby! Since 1934, this iconic golf tournament has stood as the first of four major championships in the United States and sets the scene for the golfing season. Aside from the prestige, swagger and top-tier players, one of the world’s favourite parts of Augusta is the azalea flowers that line the course, and have been inspired by for .
Kicking off the collection is the , one of Team Swoosh’s flagship models for the green, acting as the . The sole unit has been equipped with Beaverton’s legendary Flyplate tech that switches between being soft for walking and then stiff for your swing. The Dynamic Fit system, inspired by a seat belt, has also been added, providing supreme comfort and support alongside the cushioned foam midsole.
