Forecast Calls for the Nike KD 4 'Weatherman' to Return in 2024
END. have launched their raffle earlier than expected for the Nike KD 4 'Weatherman'! Pairs are dropping through the retailer's launch platform on May 2 ahead of the May 21 release.
, and now ‘Weatherman’. are not playing around with the reintroduction of the , and we have official shots of the Doppler-radar inspired colourway that’s set to drop later this spring.
Originally dropping in limited numbers in 2012, the ‘Weatherman’ colourway comes from Durant’s dream of becoming a meteorologist as a kid. Unfortunately for him, he has a 7-foot frame and range that makes a 3-pointer look like a layup, so becoming one of the greatest basketball players of all time was the backup plan. Topography lines and Doppler radar weather patterns accent the bright green upper, with the signature angled midfoot strap seen in black with a yellow Swoosh. KD’s logo and 35 branding are found on the heel and tongue respectively, as the translucent outsole also features a weather radar pattern to finish off the sneaker.
