The Kobe 6 Protro Is Going 'All-Star 3D Hollywood'
Nike are digging deeper into their Kobe Bryant archive, with the 'All-Star 3D Hollywood' Protro 6 lined up for a return.
Originally released in 2011, the performance shoe was first introduced as part of the Beaverton’s All-Star collection celebrating the game’s return to Los Angeles. Designed at the height of Kobe’s influence (both on and off the court), the ‘3D All-Star Hollywood’ captured the energy of the Big Orange with a graphic-heavy upper and clashing colours that mirrored the city’s chaotic charm.
Taking on a 'Dark Grey' base, the upcoming Kobe 6 Protro maintains its low-cut profile and responsive cushioning, ensuring optimal comfort. A textured TPU base, reminiscent of snakeskin, pays homage to Bryant's ‘Black Mamba’ persona, while inside, a 3D glasses motif reinforces the theme’s playful touch.
Complete with red-and-white–painted insoles, the 3D effect is achieved through subtle, layered graphics that create depth and simulate the visual experience of wearing 3D glasses. The illusion is further emphasised by the asymmetrical colour scheme, with the right shoe sporting a 'Chlorine Blue' Swoosh and the left featuring a 'Daring Red' Swoosh, both complemented by matching heel clips.
The Nike Kobe 6 Protro 'All-Star 3D Hollywood' is expected to launch in the Northern Hemisphere's Spring 2026 on Nike and at select retailers. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for the latest.
