Nothing But Net: Nike and Ionescu Return With the Sabrina 3

Nike and WNBA superstar Sabrina Ionescu are running it back for round three, with early images offering a first look at her latest signature sneaker.

The new edition sets the tone with a crisp 'Glacier Blue' base that comes layered with hits of 'Neptune Blue', 'Light Armoury Blue', and subtle 'Metallic Gold' detailing. A vertical Swoosh cuts across the medial side, while Ionescu’s signature lowercase ‘i’ logo returns on the heel – a quiet nod to the continuity behind the line’s design DNA. The low-cut silhouette is built for speed and control and includes a midfoot cable system to keep the foot locked in through lateral cuts and explosive movement.

While Nike haven’t officially confirmed the cushioning setup just yet, it’s expected the Sabrina 3 will carry over the same tech as previous models – likely a mix of Cushlon foam and Zoom Air in the forefoot, designed for responsive bounce and all-game comfort.

From her record-breaking college run to All-Star appearances in the pros, Ionescu has become one of the most influential players in the game today. Her signature series continues to reflect that legacy and she is part of a growing lineup of WNBA stars with signature Swoosh sneakers. A'ja Wilson's Nike A'One is set to debut in May 2025, marking a significant milestone as the first Black woman to receive a Nike signature shoe since 2002. Rising star Caitlin Clark has also signed a substantial deal with Nike, with her own signature model anticipated in 2025.​

The Nike Sabrina 3 ‘Blueprint’ is expected to release on July 10 via Nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers, priced at $130 for adults and $100 for grade school sizes.
