The Nike VaporFly 4 'Light Trails' Glows Bright at Night

Nike's VaporFly 4 just levelled up with a new iteration that literally glows in the dark, bringing performance and style into the spotlight like never before.

Introduced as part of the Swoosh's 2025 racing footwear line up, there's a lot to say when it comes to the VaporFly 4. Known as the lightest model in the line’s history, the race-ready silhouette combines ZoomX foam with a carbon-fibre plate to give runners the edge they need to hit their goals. Propulsion comes from an updated Flyplate curvature, which maximises leverage from the foot and ankle.

Weighing in about 10% lighter than the VaporFly 3 and 20 grams lighter than the 2017 version, the model sheds weight where it’s not needed. The updated midsole also improves performance while a reworked upper enhances comfort and fit, making it the perfect choice for those wanting speed and precision.

Nicknamed 'Light Trails', the newest iteration features an upper made with eye-catching streaks that mimic glowing lights in motion, while subtle glow-in-the-dark accents stand out in darker conditions. What's more, a closer look reveals the 'Vaporfly 04' marking on the tongue, a nod to Nike's commitment to refining performance at the highest level.
