NMD CS2 Gets Sophisticated Suede Makeover
It looks like the street-dwelling sock-fit NMD CS2 was sent away to business school – returning in its place is a newly sophisticated, premium suede sneaker.
The suede City Sock 2 – which retains its slip-on sock fit while sporting a small set of laces for show – will be a welcome addition to winter rotations, with Primeknit subbed out for sturdy and snug suede and leather. A black iteration looks especially smart in the new look, with its monochrome upper complemented by a black shank on the BOOST unit and a gum sole. A light brown version wears its shank in black, which is echoed on the outsole.
Those looking to add a little polish to their sneaker selection are going to want to lock these down when they drop in October at select and retailers.
