Porsche Design X adidas Ss17 Reveals New BOOST And Bounce Models
Having dabbled in collaboration with a duo of futuristic Ultra Boost make-ups early in 2016, Porsche Design Sport and adidas will be going in heavy in 2017 with an extensive collection of footwear fusing the latest in adidas tech with modernist sports styling. Created for the 'Urban Commuter', the collection consists of a wealth of new models and stylised renditions of existing designs for Spring/Summer 2017. The collection has been designed for two specific purposes – 'Commuting in Cold' and 'Commuting in Darkness'.
The Endurance 2.0 marries Boost technology with reflective accents, producing a sleek pinstriped appearance similar to the AlphaBounce. The Bounce S4 Lux puts a high-class spin on the performance trainer, with the Three Stripes branding removed and geometric patterning in its place. However, the pick of the collection is undoubtedly the Travel Tourer. Featuring a thick Boost midsole and minimalist foot-hugging upper, the Travel Tourer is simply an UltraBOOST Uncaged executed with Porsche Design finesse. Other models include the EasyTrainer 5, Daily Tourer, EC Running, Summer Trainer, PSD Ultra Boost and Gym Slide.
