It's been a minute since Indiana Pacers All-Star guard and Olympic Gold Medalist Tyrese Haliburton was announced as the new face of PUMA Hoops. Already one of the most exciting stars in the league, the 25-year-old dead-eye shooter has become known for his flashy playmaking, wall-to-wall range and the ability to take control of a game without ever looking rushed.

Over the past season, the versatile scorer earned his second All-Star selection and led Indiana on an unexpected playoff run, cementing himself as the face of the franchise and one of the league’s brightest young heroes. It’s the kind of rise that feels tailor-made – both for Haliburton, and for the Big Cat. And while details around the partnership have mostly stayed under wraps, the brand have finally lifted the lid on Haliburton's debut signature model: the PUMA Hali 1.

Designed by footwear mastermind Salehe Bembury, the forthcoming Hali 1 pairs a low-cut upper with the Big Cat logo on the heel and Hali’s signature mark on the tongue. NITRO cushioning runs through the midsole for comfort, finished with a translucent outsole underneath. The model will make its debut public appearance during Haliburton's first NBA Finals game against Oklahoma City Thunder, tonight.

You can cop the PUMA Hali 1 later this year via the brand's webstore and select retailers. Stay tuned to Sneaker Freaker for more details as they come in.
