Riccardo Tisci X NikeLAB Dunk Lux Chukka
UPDATE: With New York Fashion Week done and dusted, Riccardo Tisci's Dunk Lux Chukka has bid farewell to The Big Apple and is en route to NikeLAB accounts globally. February 25 is the drop date for this big belly trio over at Taiwan-based retailer Invincible, but with limited pairs up for grabs, you'll need to get in early to bag this high-fashion collaboration.
Former Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci strengthened his collaborative partnership with Nike in 2016, bringing us four very different pairs of Swoosh-adorned footwear. Releasing just in time for New York Fashion Week, Tisci is at it once again, introducing yet another modified silhouette in the form of the Dunk Lux Chukka.
A mid-cut rendition of the Dunk Lux High that first released in 2016, this premium collaboration tweaks the humble Dunk with a plethora of updates, including the addition of big belly Swooshes, removal of the toe perforation and full-grain leather construction. Lunarlon insoles and a memory foam inner lining ensure maximum comfort, while debossed Nike x RT branding on the heel rep the collaboration loud and proud. Three colourways of the Dunk Lux Chukka are set to release, with colourways said to be inspired by skate culture and 80s basketball.
The NikeLAB Dunk Lux Chukka x RT will release February 10 through NikeLAB at Bergdorf Goodman, NikeLAB 21M, Dover Street Market New York, Kith BK and Concepts NYC. A global release will follow on February 23, exclusively through NikeLAB retailers and .
