We're not going to say we can see can see into the future – but we totally called it this time! Ronnie Fieg has weighed in on the 'Super Green' Gel-Lyte III rumours, confirming via Twitter that the coveted ASICS colab will see release in 2016, in honour of Kith's five year anniversary. While no mention of numbers has been made at this stage, we can only assume that there will be more pairs released this time around than the original charity release back in 2013.

Not only will the Super Greens finally be publicly released, but according to Fieg, we can expect a few other 'unicorns' to release throughout 2016. Fieg followed up the Super Green confirmation with another tweet confirming that the coveted colab would be just the first of three so-called 'Gel-Lyte 3.1s' this year.

Based on the Kith head-honcho's  cryptic tweet, it sounds likely that the two other 'unicorns' on the way are the 'Mossad' and 'Salmon Toe' Gel-Lyte IIIs, which were pictured alongside the Super Green in Fieg's earlier 'Year 5.' Instagram post. From the 3.1 designation, it seems that each release will differ slightly from their original release (much to the relief of collectors!), with a navy blue midsole on 'Salmon Toes' being a likely change judging by Fieg's Instagram shot.

No further information has been released outside of Fieg's confirmation that the release will go ahead in 2016. Keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker and we'll update you soon as we have some solid release details to share.
