SAN SAN GEAR's PUMA Mostro Is Nearly Here
The PUMA Mostro's comeback continues. Following on from last month's Aries collaboration, the monstrous model finds itself the subject of another interpretation, this time by SAN SAN GEAR. As previewed earlier in the year, the monster's latest form arrives in three colourways: black, grey and baby pink. Expect the pairs to arrive on September 27 and peep the official images below.
The only returned to the sneaker scene a couple of weeks ago, and this year’s line up is already looking to be big. The unlikely lovechild of an 80s surf shoe and 60s sprint spike, the Mostro has historically been a canvas for experimentation, making it a newly sought-after silhouette for collaborating brands. For AW24, brand will be putting their spin on the sneaker, outfitting the model in three suede colourways.
Working on top of the newly reinvigorated silhouette, SAN SAN GEAR have prepped a tonal black, white and grey pair, as well as both pink and light grey versions of the model. The pairs each feature the shoe’s signature velcro closure, as well as its iconic spiky sole – a feature that came from the 2004 Mostro Ur.
