2016 was an incredible year for adidas Consortium. The premium Three Stripes footwear program saw a cavalcade of coveted collaborations with some of the most respected retailers around the globe. Rounding out the year, Miami's Shoe Gallery managed to sneak in a stealthy Climacool 1 colab in the final days of December. Inspired by the bright neon lights that adorn South Beach's Ocean Drive, this seemingly blacked-out make-up comes alive under direct light, with an iridescent XENO membrane shimmering with multicolour brilliance beneath the mesh upper. The shoe has been design in conjunction with Miami-based Grammy nominated producer Cool and the covert crew at DroneNerds, with the blackout upper a sly nod to their stealth expertise.
