Selected 5th overall by the Sacramento Kings in the 2017 NBA Draft, De'Aaron Fox is one of the most explosive talents to hit the NBA hardwood in recent years. The Winner of the inaugural NBA Clutch Player of the Year and member of the All-NBA Third Team in the 2022-23 season, the 26-year-old is already adding plenty of hardware to his trophy cabinet. Next accolade on the list? His own signature sneaker, of course.

Signing with Curry Brand in October of 2023, Fox is the first signature athlete under the Curry Brand with Under Armour. Today, we got our first look at the upcoming Curry Fox 1 model – albeit an extreme close-up! The first thing you’ll notice in the above images is the logo. The clever graphic depicts a resting fox, which also portrays the letter ‘D’. The motif is also extended to the insoles, where the graphic is printed.

Elsewhere, the Curry Fox 1 will also feature a mid-foot strap in the shape of a foxtail, which you can just make out in the cropped images. In terms of the engine, the Curry Fox 1 will utilise Under Armour’s proprietary Flow cushioning foam unit.

Currently, there’s no official release details for the Under Armour Curry Fox 1, although we’re expecting a launch later this year. The Curry Brand will embark on a China Tour this month, with both Curry and Fox on location, so we’re expecting additional information then.

As always, keep it locked to Sneaker Freaker for updates.
