Up Close and On-Foot: Nike's Adapt BB Showcased in New York City

Nike hosted a swanky invite-only Adapt BB showcase at its New York City headquarters, giving attendees a detailed look at the new self-lacing basketball sneaker. Fortunately, the crew at Hypebeast have come through with an epic pictorial, giving us the best look at the game-changing baller we’ve seen yet.

Hosted by Nike’s VP of Innovation, Michael Donaghu, the event also featured Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum discussing the Adapt BB’s ground-breaking features. Attendees were also given an opportunity to try out the Adapt BB on-foot and play with the various fit options via the FitAdapt app.

Unfortunately, the rest of us will probably have to wait to try it out. The Nike Adapt BB releases on February 17 for All-Star Weekend via  Nike.com for $350 USD.
