Vans Unveil Andrew Allen-Designed ‘Skate Authentic High’ Collection

Legends of SoCal Vans have kicked off 2025 with a bang, crafting the recent ‘Music Collection’ that celebrated the Old Skool’s storied heritage. Now, Vans are celebrating Skate Shop Day with a limited drop designed by skater Andrew Allen using the Skate Authentic High in two colourways exclusive to skate stores. Not only that, but there’s a range of epic apparel and a campaign video to match.

The Skate Authentic High is a more underappreciated model in the Vans arsenal, and this pair has been designed with skate performance in mind. Sleek black and classic checkerboard colourways have been crafted, both hosting Allen’s signature AA logo. Built to be skated, these sneaks have been reinforced with DURACAP and grippy SICKSTICK tech and feature max cushioning with the uber-comfy POPCUSH insole technology. Each of these has been rounded out with specialised key ring details and lateral checkerboard tag detailing.
