Skateboarding is experiencing somewhat of a golden-era at the moment. The sheer diversity of styles, and the rebirth of grass-roots skate media, harkens back to a previous era where experimentation (and fun) was key. The early 90s saw legendary ‘Sultan of Switch’, Salman Agah, push switch-stance skateboarding to new heights with previously unseen power and style. As part of their 50th anniversary celebrations, Vans have reissued Salman’s first pro-model – the Salman Agah Pro. Interestingly, the vulc-soled silhouette with its slim rubberised toe box isn’t that far removed from contemporary skate models. The reissued sneaker features a little modern comfort in the form of an UltraCush sockliner and DURACAP tech.

The Vans Salman Agah Reissue Pro is availble now from select Vans stockists.
