Y-3 Race Ahead With Their SS25 Adizero Running Collection

Everyone wants a running colab these days, but Yohji Yamamoto and adidas have been blending fashion and function since the Y-3 line’s creation in 2003. Over the past few years, however, the sublabel has been dialling up its efforts within the athletics world, kitting out Olympic athletes like Noah Lyles with Y-3 track spikes and dropping the co-branded Adios Pro 3 trainer. Now, the Three Stripes and Mr Yamamoto are set to toe off again, with two race day styles taking to the starting line.

For SS25, Y-3 have turned their hand to the Adios Pro 4, an ultra lightweight and speedy marathon day shoe that ranks just below their record-breaking Pro Evo 1. Designed with elite athletes and everyday goal-getters in mind, this silhouette arrives in three colourways – a concrete jungle dark grey, a blue pair, and a white iteration. The collection also includes the Y-3 Adios 9, a racing shoe with a much lower stack height, which comes in grey, white and green.

Alongside the two silhouettes, the SS25 Y-3 Adizero running collection also features a ton of performance-ready running clothes, including jackets, vests, shorts and leggings, all designed with breathability in mind. The collection’s campaign is fronted by marathon runner Tigst Assefa, who smashed the women’s world record at the Berlin Marathon in 2023 wearing the Pro Evo 1.
