Air Jordan 21

D’Wayne Edwards’s Air Jordan 21 design was all about cushioning customisation. Evolution of the IPS system (as seen on the AJ20) allowed ballers to choose between Air Zoom or Encapsulated Air in the heels. Not to be outdone on the automobile references, D’Wayne favoured the Bentley Continental GT as his vehicular muse. To counteract the proliferation of counterfeit Jordan product, a cryptic ‘Authentic’ message was applied to the ankles that was only visible under black light.
